Small white spots in pernis

Small white spots in pernis

I am 21, young and naive. I have been with my girlfriend for two years and she recently went to the doctor and was diagnosed with HPV, For the past two years I thought she was faithful and we had unprotected sex all the time. However, before we did we both got check ups and we tested negative to everything. I broke up with her because in my opinion she cheated. I never had sex with anyone other than her. I am afraid of going to the doctor. I am afraid of what they might say. Maybe I have it too. It is really having an effect on me mentally. A few months after, I started noticing some small white spots on my penis, they are not raised and do not look nothing like what HPV looks like on pictures. They don't hurt but it iches, they dont look like bumps but if i pull the skin of my penis and try to scratch them a little white hardish thing comes off. It seems to be slowly spreading.  Can they spread if it rubs on other parts of my skin. What are the chances that I might have HPV too. Can they be cleared if I stay healthy?. Will I get Cancer.  I would really appreciate any advice

Hello,
The small white bumps can be due to folliculitis skin and the white thing under the foreskin can be due to balanitis. Oral course of antibiotics is needed. In addition, don’t use any cosmetics on the penis, instead use some topical antimicrobials like Bacitracin or Lotrimin. Also corticosteroids and topical immunosuppressants can be used but they are available under prescription. Also retract the foreskin daily and soak in warm water to clean penis and foreskin. In case the symptoms persist then consult a urologist/dermatologist for evaluation and antimicrobials and steroids prescription.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
