I recently had a place (longer than 6 months ago) come up on my forehead above my right eyebrow, which the dermatologist diagnosed as folliculitis, and gave give a topical ointment and a round of antibiotics. That was two months ago. It cleared almost everything up, but a horn like place remains where the sore was. I don't pick it, but when I wash my face with a washcloth and cleanser it sometimes comes off, is sore, the horn reattaches, and then I start the cycle over again. Should I follow up with my dermatologist on this or is it something another round of antibiotics would help?
