and saw the entry point, but nothing there. I looked on the ground and also saw nothing around. I thought little of it until the pain continued for a couple of weeks. I saw the PA at my physician's office and he did a punch biopsy and an x-ray, but nothing was found. It has now been three months of being unable to walk comfortably and the pain is terrible when I put pressure
to touch, even gently. I have an appointment set up with a podiatrist and a dermatologist, hoping one of them can find out the problem or dig it out of my heel
Hello,
The possibility of a thorn or some pointed object getting struck in the heel and hence causing pain is high. It might get infected also. I suggest you to consult a dermatologist and get it evlauted as soon as possible. The other possibility is of a corn.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
