Sores / Red Spots underneath penis

About a week ago, I noticed some itching and burning underneath my penis shaft and it hurts more when hard. I've tried many things to try and cure it, from Neosporin, Lotrimin Ultra and hydrocortizone cream. The hydrocortizone seems to do the most relieving the symptoms, but it still itches when touched. I took a photo with my cell phone which I have attached a photo for you guys to help.

Here are a few bits of info that also might help: I haven't been washing myself very regularly lately... so it is warm and moist frequently. I also had oral sex about 9 days ago, but it wasn't rough.

Hello,
For fungal infection many treatment options are there like Clotrimazole 1%, Miconazole nitrate 2%, Tolnaftate 1% and Butenafine hydrochloride 1%. Many OTC products containing these salts are available, your pharmacist can help. Try a combination of two and apply until the itch disappears. Continue application for 2 weeks after the itch disappears. The cause for persistence is that the treatment is often left in between. After the itch and dryness goes, you have to continue applying for at least another 2 weeks for the infection to be completely cured from the lower most layer of the skin.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

I've been using Lamisil for a few days now and it 'seems' to be working. The itching has gone down tremendously. I'm going to continue to do as you say.

Thank you!

Hello,
It can be due to fungal infection of the skin. Treatment consists of topical antifungal cream which may contain miconazole, tolnaftate, terbinafine, ketaconazole and clotrimazole. Some of them are Lamisil, Monistat derm, Mycelex, and Nizoral. Restrict wearing any undergarments at night and as far as possible keep the area dry.

If the symptoms persist then get an evaluation done from a dermatologist.
