Sores

I'm a dental assistant and for the past 5 years I've been getting sores on my hands, feet, and in my mouth.  The sores on my hand are really painful and itch really bad.  They look like bumps, raised skin, all different sizes.  If big enough they almost look like a perfect circle.  As they start to heal they get dark from the center out.  It hurts to make a fist, hold things in my hand, and do other everyday things.  They appear all over my fingers including the palm side.  The sores in my mouth are constant.  I have at least one sore in my mouth at all times.  It's hard, sometimes impossible to eat, brush my teeth, and open my mouth.  If I have multiple sores in my mouth my tonsils get red, swollen, and eventually infected.  I've had multiple biopsies done and the result is always the same, inflammed tissue.  The only medications that resolve the sores is Prednisone and antibiotics.  I've tried all types of topical creams prescribed by a Dermatologist and none of them work.  I've been placed on Acyclovir for 2 years with no change.  Is there a name for what I'm going through?  Is there treatment?
