Spider Bite(possibly) or some other type of bite HELP
Well to start let me say that i got sick a few weeks ago, lasted for about a week because i didnt get treatment and didnt rest much, it almost went completely away then came back the second week. I dont blame this on any kind of bite
because when i got sick i stayed outside at night drinking in sandles. When it came back the second week i was up all night drinking again. Only reason i mention this is because maybe this is delaying healing time being sick and all?
Anyways, Somewhere between the first and second sickness and maybe when the second sickness started, i started feeling sensitive skin on my right side only. My right leg on certain areas would hurt to the touch, not really enough pain to do much but definately annoying as it hurts when i walk from my pants rubbing against my skin. Also, around my wait on the right side and right buttcheek and there was a spot
. Now im not saying its brown recluse because i just been reading about it and some of the symptoms match. But also the pics of that spider look alot bigger. The spider i smashed
is a cluster of about 4-5 blisters with a center and white ring and red wing around that. The surrounding area is lighter red. Im sure im just paranoid wiht the brown recluse thing but any ideas on what this is and how to treat is. Btw i live on Los angeles area.
Hi,
Although there are many kinds of spiders, only a few are dangerous to people. Two of concern in the continental United States are the black widow and brown recluse spiders. Both tend to live in dry, out-of-the-way areas such as under sinks, in closets, in basements, or in woodpiles. They are especially common in the southern United States.
Brown recluse (or fiddleback) spiders are identified by a brown, violin-shaped mark on the back. Their bite produces a bull's-eye pattern of red circles accompanied by blistering and swelling.
A blister forms over the bite of a brown recluse spider. Other signs and symptoms include:
•Nausea, vomiting, fever, or chills
•Difficulty breathing or swallowing
•Excessive sweating and saliva
Wash the bite area with soap and water. Apply a cold cloth or ice pack to reduce swelling.Get to a doctor as sonn as possible because your description of the bite sounds like it could be a brown recluse spider bite.
For brown recluse bites, treatment may include a corticosteroid medication to reduce the body's reaction to the venom.

This bite has to be examined before any treatment can be initiated.
