, or high heat or she is in the pool (treated with chlorine) the spider vein is more accentuated.
We are thinking to do a dye pulse laser treatment, but I need to know what are the risks, what we need to do afterwards, how we can avoid to have these spider veins appeared again?
And what is the cause for this spider veins for such a young person?
Hello,
From your post I assume that you are talking about telangiectasia. They are small dilated blood vessels present under the skin especially on the face. It can be due to environmental changes, skin trauma, overuse of steroids, acne rosacea or venous hypertension. There are no ways to prevent them except for finding out the cause of these and then treating it. I suggest you a pediatrician’s or dermatologist’s evaluation for confirming the diagnosis.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
