Spots on face

by NYRR, Jul 18, 2002 12:00AM
The past few days I notice what looks like some lite and dark circles on my face, with a thin black border, some are round some are oval and range in size from the size of a pin head to a quarter.  They blend in with my beard and complexion so some of them are hard to notice.  At times they itch.  When I showed them to my doctor she had a hard time finding them and felt it was related to sun exposer.  This has happen to me in the past and they seemed to go away and come back.  However I noticed  similar marks on my stomach area and on my penis( whic itches a bit).  Except these had more of a red border.  These areas have not been exposed to Sun- LOL!  Can this be related to one or two very small warts I have on my face?  Is something else going on?  I know I may be looking into things a little more then usual.  It just all seems very odd to me.

I really have no idea.  If the doctor had trouble seeing them, they can't be very serious.  They certainly aren't warts, which are raised and usually colorless.  As to the spots on your stomach and penis, I can't tell much from your description.  Perhpas you are looking too hard.

If the spots persist, I suggest you show them to a skin doctor.

Take care.
