Spots on my hands and feet? (HELP!!)

Yesterday morning I woke up and saw that I had been scratching my foot in my sleep. I looked at it and saw that there was an angry looking red spot on my left foot, roughly underneath my big toe. It itched like mad but also stung whenever I walked on it or itched it. I thought it might have been a bite or something, so left it, but then the bumps began to spread to both feet. Now I have four on my left, and three on my right, and now one on my right hand directly at the base of my thumb. All are equally painful and itchy and are driving my crazy!!!

I've put some sudocream on them and they seemed to cool down for a short while before itching again. I've had chicken pox, and have never experienced this before. I'm actually pretty freaked out. There are only two things which I think might be the cause of it - A few days ago I wore some old shoes which I hadn't worn for about two months, and starting on Monday I began doing work experience in a primary school, working with an reception class.

Please help before they spread anymore!!
Laura.

Hi,
THis seems to be an allergic rash.If your body immune system is unable to destroy the unwanted foreign particles that enter in your body’s cells and tissues, then this unwanted particles reacts adversely, which will result in allergies. Some times, these reactions are pertained to outer surface of the skin and they are known as allergy rashes.

It presents as itchy and swollen red bumps or patches all over the body, which  is the most common form of allergy rash. Common trigger factos are certain foods, drugs, cosmetics and exposure to the sun.
Treatment is with oral anti-hostamines like Cetrizine and Loratidine. You can apply anti-itch lotions or Calamine lotion on the affected areas to relieve the itching.
