Spring and Summer Whelps

When I go outside in late spring and summer around my house, I start itching. Something like mosquito bites comes up, then the whelps just get bigger--usually on my limbs.  Is this an allergy? It makes it miserable for me to be outside.

It can be due to insect bites or hives due to contact with an environmental allergen. You may take oral antihistaminics like benadryl or zyrtec. Also apply calamine lotion as it has a soothing effect on the skin. You can apply steroid cream but it is available under prescription for which you need to consult your doctor. Severe cases may need oral steroids.
