Squamos cell, superficial

by veronikaO, May 25, 2009 12:09PM
Within these past 3 months and for the first time ever, i have had 5 actinic keratoses removed from my face with the spray liquid nitrogen. Then I had 2 basal cells on my back, one of which i will be getting Moh's surgery for on June 17th. The other spot was cut out and i had inner stitches and outter stitches for that one.  When my outter stitches will be removed in a few days, they will also be treating a squamos cell on my upper chest area.  They said it was superficial and will most likely be treated with the spray nitrogen as were the actinic keratoses on my face.
My question is; Can a treated basal cell or a treated superficial squamos cell ever return in that same area as a melanoma?
I got all of these because I never used sunscreen! (with the exception of when i was on a tropical vacation where the sun is most powerful.)
The reason was because i had read that sunscreen was loaded with harmful chemicals.
I have recently found some great natural sunscreen products.
I am blonde, blue eyed and very fairskinned.  Do you think i should stay out of the sun completely, or use my natural sunscreen products?   I am a scuba diver and we also ride motorcycles..
              Thanks, V
