Stasis Dermatitis

by Jude1977, Oct 08, 2009 02:36AM
I had vesicular athlete's foot for a while that turned into Eczema or gave an eczematic reaction. As I treat the eczema and foot fungus on my feet, the eczema on my hands and arms that broke out go away. I've had little red, speckled bumps on my ankle for about a week that have improved with topical steroids.

Here's my question.

When I type in red bumps on ankle to google, I get Stasis Dermatitis and it says this can only be due to blood clots or serious circulation problems. The dermatologist laughed me out of the office. I don't have varicose veins... I can see one vein by my ankle but it's not varicose or a spider vein... a surface vein. You can only see it if you look for it. I tried to compare ankle sizes but my right ankle has always been bigger than the other- the bone itself.

I don't have ankle pain, swelling and I tried placing a finger on my ankle, there's indentation left after I press it... am I just being paranoid?
