Strange Lump on Penis

by nyteschayde, Aug 23, 2006 12:00AM
I recently (maybe two or three months ago) started to notice a small bump on the underside of my penis. I had just been tested for a large barrage of sexually transmitted diseases which all turned up negative (before the bump appeared). Likewise my girlfriend was also tested and came up negative. Neither of us are sleeping around (to my knowledge).

The bump looked like a small pimple so I hoped that it was and tried to wait it out. It never caused any pain (until tonight) and could only really be noticed without close examination during an erection.

Tonight while masturbating, the spot was a bit sore. I took a shower and tried to pop it like I would a zit (as I was becoming flacid; after masturbation) and the white part popped out. Unlike a fluid it was hard. I saved it and put it in a plastic baggy. I took after photos of my penis and the object.

I am really worried about it. The good news is that the swelling of the skin on the penis is already starting to go down after the object has been removed. It almost looks like a tiny popcorn kernel or sunflower seed.

Do you guys have any ideas as to what this might be?

I have higher resolution photos as well. Please email me if you need to see them.

No, this resolution is pretty impressive.  The photos show a cyst of the type commonly found on the penis.  The cyst looks irritated, either from masturbation of popping.  The white stuff that comes out of cysts looks just like what you're showing.  My advice is to leave it alone, forget about it, and shoe whatever's left of it--if anything--to a doctor, next time you go.

Take care.

So you think that there is nothing else to worry about? Is there any special care I should take of the location? What could have caused it?

It's normal.  These is no cause for normal.  Nor is there any special care.
