Strange acne?

Strange acne?

3206410?1217167749
Hello!
I wanted to ask you about the acne on my face skin - it appeared before two years. I've tried to remove it with many and expensive products, but with no progress, only more dry skin. I applied a photo to see how exactly it looks and darken it, to see more clearly. Thanks for the answer in advance!

Hi,
The marks that you can see could be post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation or scars left behind by your acne lesions.

Acne is a common condition that affects most people and some people develop severe acne that leads to permanent and sometimes disfiguring scarring. The term "scarring" refers to a process where collagen within the skin is damaged from inflammation, leading to permanent texture changes in the skin.

Treatment of scarring may vary depending on the kind of scarring present. This can be assessed by a dermatologist.
Discoloration from acne (red, purple, brown, black, and white) is less permanent and easier to treat than acne scarring.

You can treat it with over-the-counter creams contain 2 percent hydroquinone, a bleaching agent or with combinations of medications such as hydroquinone with tretinoin plus a cortisone cream.
