Strange bumps

Hi, I have a few questions for you concerning what seem to be skin tags on my genital area. To begin, I haven't had sex in 5 months, and I haven't had unprotected sex in almost a year and a half. Also, I had a pap smear and STD test in January and they all came back good & clean. It was about that time I started using an electric razor because my skin is extremely sensitive; I still get razor bumps with the electric razor, just not as bad. Not long after I developed flesh colored bumps. Some are solitary, others are grouped. One set actually has almost a white/pearly color. They don't itch very often. They haven't ulcerated. The only thing that comes out is blood. I also started my Gardisil vacinations in January. Does this sound like something I should be concerned about? Could the electric razor cause this? I stopped using it about a month ago and the bumps are still there. The razor is not the best in the world considering it did cause bleeding, the teeth aparantly scratched me. I'm really confused about all of this and anything you could offer would be great. Thanks.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,

I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be irritated hair follicles or skin warts.
Genital warts are caused by a virus – HPV (human papillomavirus). Any sexually active person can get HPV. They are cauliflower-like protuberances and are usually symptomless. They are spread through direct skin-to-skin contact during oral, genital, or anal sex with an infected partner.

I suggest you to get m examination done from a dermatologist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Most women would not be put off by pubic hair on a man. It is better to carefully trim the hair with scissors, rather than remove it completely. If you do decided to shave, use a good quality shaving gel and a fresh disposable razor blade each time. Clinique make a good quality shaving gel and a post shave balm to prevent irritation. The electric razor has damaged your hair follicles.
