Subungual Wart and Pain

by wwcw, May 17, 2009 12:49PM
Hi, I have a wart under my thumb nail and an very sore bump at the end of my thumb this is very sensitive to the touch and feels like I have hit it with a hammer when I hit it against something.

The wart has killed the connection between my nail and the thumb and I am able to cut the nail back to see more of the wart. I have been treating the wart with Wart Remover with 17% Salicylic Acid.

It is removing the wart, but the painful bump at the end of the thumb still remains. The red bump does not appear to be infected.

Any ideas on how I should be treating this? Thanks!!
