Sudden onset of buring and itching in hands and feet...

Two days ago, out of no-where, my hands and feet starting burning and itching severly...and it's very painful...I have never had this issue before, and from what i've read, there could be several reasons why....the worse times seem to be at night during rest...however, I noticed that while I was resting the syptoms started up....the only time I seem to get relief is while I move or take a hot bath...I have tried topical ointments and none have seemed to help at all...any ideas???

THIS WORKED! Okay, Mine have only done it from time to time but not often and or not bad. Just today, I did nothing different, walked outside dropped some biscuits from a plate came right back in and sat down. My palms on both hand started itching and burning like crazy. Never felt it like this in my whole life and I'm over 40 with an autoimmune disease and yet first time ever. Scratching, couldn't stop long enough to look under the light at them close. Ran to the bathroom washed and dried, still itching and burning. Making a mess trying to get anti itch cream rubbed in and forced myself to sit still for a few to give it time to work. GOT WORSE!! Used prescription baby butt rash cream and rubbed in good. Stood still for a few seconds, No change!! I couldn't stop long enough to google anything. I think my husband though I was over reacting. So I remembered something that hurt and burned like all get out one time when I got stung by a wasp. What I was told to do for it, hurt so bad that it took away my breath. But only for like 2 seconds and all the sudden no more stink, no itching and no swelling afterwards.
So I yell to my husband, honey hurry grab the bleach and I ran to the sink. He looks at me like I'm crazy but grabs and goes to hand it to me. I said, no don't hand it to me pour alot over my wrist, hands, fingers and all. Took my.breath and hurt. I still wanted to itch but not as bad. So I stood there letting it drip off some. Then I rubbed it in hard over my wrist, arms, hands, in between my fingers. Of course the rubbing it in made me want to scratch again but not so bad that I could resist. So I resisted. And stood there and they stopped completely.  So I grabbed a white pillow case and made sure I got any extra bleach off so I wouldn't accidently ruin anything else I touched. 3 hours later, no itch at all!! They stunk like bleach and it does hurt for a second or 2 but so worth it. BLEACH! Saturate them with it, resist to scratch and don't let yourself rinse it off because of the sudden pain.  Then rub that bleach in good, let it sit then air dry or wipe it like I did with something like an old tee shirt or sheet or white pillowcase. Thank God, I remember that from being stung by a wasp which I was allergic to.  Never had to to go to DR or a doc that time.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to neurodermatitis. The other possibilities are diabetes, stroke, multiple sclerosis, peripheral vascular disease and underactive thyroid. Abnormal levels of calcium, potassium, or sodium in your body and a lack of vitamin B12 can also such symptoms.

Get your blood sugar levels checked and take some vitamin B 12 for some days. If the symptoms persist then get these possibilities ruled out from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
