Sudden rash of blisters, burning on cheek

Yesterday I felt my cheek burning. I had been in the sun the day before and even though no where else was red/in pain I figured I must have missed a spot on my cheek when applying my sunblock. Then I started feeling bumps in that area. By the end of the day it looked like a full fledged rash. Today it is a cluster of small blister looking bumps and is still painful/burning. It does not itch, and as of yet has not spread to any other areas. Any ideas what this could be and whether it could possibily be contagious ?

This sounds like a heat rash or milaria , though nothing can be said with surety without having a look at the lesions.

'Miliaria (miliaria rubra, sweat rash or prickly heat) is a skin disease marked by small and itchy rashes. Miliaria is a common ailment in hot and humid conditions, such as in the tropics and during the summer season. '
