Sun care inside the building/house

Sun care inside the building/house

I know that you need to apply sunscreen daily, but do you also need to wear sunscreen when you are inside a room/office with the blinds closed and the curtains down? Yes, there is still some lights coming through from the outside, but dimmed to the effect of about the same brightness as a fluorescent light at the smallest setting or a nightlight with maybe the shades off. Is the UV still getting through and harmful to the skin, esp. skin that has been on a retinol/AHA treatment?

Thank you for answering.

Hello,
UVA and UVB rays can penetrate the glass windows and curtains as well but the intensity is decreased. You need to apply sun screen when you are inside the house or building also.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Thank you, doctor.

I do have another question, though: So do I still need to apply sunscreen from head to toe, even the parts of the body where I wear clothes that allows very, very little light through?

Sorry, just to clarify also my first question:

Do I still need to apply sunscreen when I have the windows covered and practically lets in no light?
