Sun damage or food damage

Hi. I am just arrived in Australia. I have some red itchy spots in my lower arms and few on my leg. First, I thought it's because of strong sun. But I always wear +30 sunblock everyday whenever I go out. Now I think it probably from food. I never use to eat may fruits. But here in Australia, I am eating many fruits like apples, bananas, dried fruits and nuts. Please advise me what are these reds spots and what I should do?

Thanks

Hello,
There can be many possibilities for your symptoms like dermatitis, insect bites, lice, scabies and hives, irritation and allergic reactions to chemicals, wool, soaps, cosmetics and certain foods etc. You can apply an anti-itch cream or lotion to the affected area. Oral antihistamine, such as Benadryl can also be used. You should take a comfortably cool bath and wear smooth-textured cotton clothing.

Please take a second opinion from a dermatologist if the symptoms persist.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
