Surfaced blood vessels? Autoimmune disease?

I have a patch on my left breast, about 2x3inches. It looks like a bruise/hickey mark? I've had it about a year, just looked into it because it got bigger and darker. I went to OBGN and she said it wasn't cancer or anything, but she could see that it had something to do with my blood vessels under my skin. Now my primary doctor found that I have a high ANA titer with a homogeneous pattern, and she's testing for lupus and other autoimmune diseases. Wondering I this goes hand in hand? Just wondering what It could be??
