Suspected tinea Cruris on back of legs

Okay, I have asked this question before on this site and got a few answers.  I went to two different dermatologists and they have neither told much of anything.   Basically, I have red circular spots on several spots on the back of my legs. I have had them for years, however more seem to appear as I get older.  It looks just like pictures on the internet of Tinea Cruris and my dermatologist agrees.  I have been an avid weight trainer for many years and probably got it on a dirty bench.  Anyway, I have tried everything.  Over the counter Lamsil, Lamisil AT, spray and cream, I am paid a precription of Lamasil pills which did nothing.  Basically have tried everything to get rid of these spots that keep popping up.  However, nothing helps.  I have gone as far as burning them with a solution of water and bleach. Crazy as it sounds, the solution of bleach is the closest that I have come to killing this stuff off.  I am at wits end here, I have spent in excess of a thousand dollars and I still have these redish brown spots and more appear every year.  Please help.
Thank You

Tinea cruris means fungus of the folds of skin in the groin, so it's hard for me to believe that your dermatologist agrees that red spots on your legs represents that.  Red spots that don't respond to repeated treatments for fungus mean that these spots aren't fungal.  Burning them with blech is a sure way to make sure the marks never fade at all.  My best guess is that you have some form of eczema.  If you've been attacking them with other destructive means, it may not  even be that--just red marks left over, which can last for months on legs, and that's if you leave them alone.  Which is what I think you should do.  I suggest you do nothing with them for 6 months.  Then show them to a doctor, if there's anything left to see.  I think you've expended enough attention and money on this matter.  Now it's time to let nature take its course.

Best.
