Suspicious Fungus looking rash along ring finger?

About 4 days ago i discovered what looked like a rash on the skin where my wedding bands are. I removed my rings immediately and began researching what it was and how to get rid of it. I've used hydrocortizone, and now i am using lamizil. It's not working. I've been washing my hands regularly and applying the cream but it just seems to stay the same, maybe even spreading a bit more. Help?

The rash looks something more like the skin is swollen and red, very red, then on one side of my finger there is a red bubble, the other side is just the shape of my bands except on my skin swollen and red, no bubbles. It was never itchy until i started using creams and stuff, it stopped being itchy today. The skin has NOT been dry, not even when i discovered it. It actually has the appearance of being moist.

Any help would be appreciated.

It looks like contact dermatitis or allergic reaction. First of all, stop scratching as it can introduce infections. For these rashes, do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. Also take some antihistaminic like Benadryl.

If the symptoms persist then get scabies ruled out.
