Symmetrical bumps that recur on face

Every month (near my period it seems and/or when I am stressed) I get recurring red patches on my cheeks symmetrically.  There's always just one on each side of my nose always in the same spot, and they don't match, but a roughly the same size.  There's no defined edges but both are raised.  They do not itch.  There's no scales or flakiness.  Sometimes, but sometimes they will sting.  Then they fade away.
I so curious as to what the heck these are...the symmetry and consistancy of the location is really bizarre.  People will ask, " What did you do?" (b/c they don't look like pimples, or a rash) and I always say, "I don't know what it is."
thanks for any insight

I am 40
There seems to be no other triggers....like food intake, emotions, heat or cold, and I'm rarely around smoke and don't where make-up (and yuck from the the picture I sure should change on that note-blech)
I've experienced this off and on for probably 2 years.
No allergies.

Thanks for responding.

Hi,

How old are you?

What other conditions trigger this?

Aside from your menses,is this associated with food intake, excessive emotions, exposure to heat or cold, certain chemicals like smoke or cosmetics?

Is this associated with eye redness or tearing?

For how long have you experienced this?

Do you have any history of allergies?
