protection and ended up using baby oil to moisturize my body that day (it was a habit and sadly, I wasn't thinking). Well, I spent nearly 8 hours outdoors and had a horrible farmer's tan. It was red and stung for a bit; It wasn't a horrible sunburn
nonetheless. I was told it would eventually go away, so I didn't concern myself too much. However, it's been 11 months and the tan line still hasn't gone away. I do exfoliate once in a while but it hasn't helped. I tried using an exfoliant with lemon juice, it hasn't helped.
Do any of you have any suggestions to make this go away? I really hope there's a solution for this. If you know of any, please let me know.
I don't think there is a remedy for this. I have tan lines too, still from last year. If yours were that severe I can see that they would still be there too. The only thing I have to say is that if you have another photo shoot, or need to blend the lines, get a light spray on tan. Just go to a place with a good reputation and make sure you see someone with the tan to be sure you do not turn orange. Better lines than discolored! : ) Actually, my tan lines carry over every year even without burning. My husband is miffed by this but likes it.
