Tazorc and Glycolic acid

I was prescribed tazorac for mild to moderate acne and to reverse and prevent slight sun damage.  My previous dermatologist had me on retin-a at night and 15% glycolic acid pads during the day followed by elta md spf 40.  My new dermatologist switched me to tazorac because she said it was a little stronger.  It is still okay to use glycolic acid 15% saturated pads with tazorc .05%?  Also, i was thinking about mixing some vitamin c powder with my sunblock each morning would that also be okay on the regime i am on right now.  I want that extra antioxidant benefit since i live in south florida.  By the way i am 24 year old female.  Thanks :)
