Tender Scalp ( no apparent rash )

Tender Scalp ( no apparent rash )

I currently have swollen lymph nodes in my throat, which make it difficult to swallow, and  a sinus infection. I have been taking antibiotics , and using a nasal spray, and that condition is slowly improving, but along with these problems I developed a very tender scalp condition, no rash noticeable, although  did develop a small one over my eyebrow which disappeared in about a day. I shave my head so it would be visible if it were there. It feels like a moderate sunburn, but I know it's not. It also began before I started taking any medications for the throat, and sinus problems, so it's not a drug reaction.
The problem doesn't bother me a whole lot during the day, but because of the tenderness it makes sleeping difficult.
I don't know if the scalp problems are associated with  the other stated conditions I have, and if I can expect it to go away as they do, or if it is a seperate condition that will require some kind of treatment.
Any information, or advice would be appreciated.

I'm afraid I don't know.  The scalp conditions I'm most familiar with--seborrhea, psoriasis, and so forth--cause itching and flaking, not tenderness.  It could be a contact allergy to something you're using on your scalp, I suppose, but I could only guess at what.  I advise you to show your scalp to a skin doctor, and bring a list of all the scalp and hair products you use.  I can't put these symptoms together with the lymph nodes, sinus issues, and the rest.

Best.

My fiance has the exact same problem. He has swollen lymph nodes including one in the back of his neck. He has been on an antibiotic for 4 days for his sinus infection that includes his throat and ear. His throat and ear are better but the scalp condition remains very painful. There has to be an answer for this. Anybody know.
Thanks
