Testicles' sweat leave residue and smell...

Help me please, about 2 months ago I stared noticing that I had a tuna smell coming from below my waist when I worked out. I checked my trousers I worked out in yesterday and there was a dry residue around where my testicles/taint is. What's happening? Its not an std because I've never had sex, but I'm thinking its a skin infection...

If it helps sometimes my testicles are ashy and flake, and this has been happening long before two months ago.

Hello,

I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be tinea cruris. Wash your groin daily and then dry thoroughly by pat drying, not rubbing. A hairdryer is useful if you have hairy groins. The damp groin is an ideal site for fungi to multiply. Also wear cotton underwears and change them twice a day and do not share other people’s towels.

Most cases of fungal infections respond to over-the-counter products, which contain any of several basic ingredients: miconazole, tolnaftate, terbinafine, ketaconazole and clotrimazole. You can consult a pharmacist and get any cream or lotion containing these ingredients. Some of them are Lamisil, Monistat derm, Mycelex, and Nizoral.

If the symptoms persist, then it would be best to get it confirmed from a dermatologist.Oral antifungals may be needed and intertrigo has to be ruled out.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts.Kind regards.
