The healing of planter warts

I have 4 planter warts and I have been using Duoplant wich is a salicidic acid based treatment. I have been using it for about 1 week. Before I started to use this treatment the warts were not that visible, now they hurt more and im starting to see a black dot in the center. My question is based on that, how will i start knowing if the warts are healing or not?

Hello,
They best way to use salicylic acid for a wart is to first pare the wart with a pumice stone or small scrub brush. Soaking the wart in warm water will aid in the absorption of the medicine. Salicylic acid is applied to the wart and allowed to dry. It does not take just one application for the wart to be removed. Sometimes the application has to be carried on for days or weeks. So please apply the salicylic acid after consulting your doctor as you may need multiple applications.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
