Thinned or stretched skin at corona sulcus

Thinned or stretched skin at corona sulcus

I have been in almost constant pain for the past few weeks.  This is because I had an injury a few months ago in which my skin around the corona sulcus of my penis was stretched from excessively masturbating one time.  This inital act left a white area about the size of small button in the area on the penile shaft just where it joins the glans (glands) penis (presumably thinned skin).  I was in severe pain then, but this area had healed and I was without pain for a while, but now a constant pain has emerged.  I notice that night erections will exacerbate the pain since the skin is stretched from that happening.  Also, this area is in constant contact with clothing; I've tried repositioning my penis so this doesn't occur, but it's just not possible.  I have ceased masturbation (for the rest of my life after this in fact!) and have not been having sex.  I eat generally heathly and don't smoke or abuse alcohol.

It seems like I have nearly exposed nerve endings.  Is this skin permanently ruined or is there hope?  I don't know if skin grafting is an option since the pain is originating next to (if not on) the ridge of the glans (glands) penis.  What options might I have?

Thanks for your help and suggestions!

you want to post this over at the urology forum.

sounds like a visit to the urologist would be wise.
