Tight, Scaley Film on Facial Skin?

I recently noticed about 10-14 days ago that my face has become much more oily, and when raising my eyebrows, it appears as if my forehead has a tight "film" over it.  The problem still persists, although there is no feeling of irritation, just tight, more oily skin.

Before this occured, I had used purchased "Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub, Oil Free" (http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?id=prod379935&CATID=303538&skuid=sku379936&ec=bz_705858&srccode=cii_10043468&cpncode=24-36731653-2).

I was using this product daily, sometimes as much as twice daily; however, I did not notice any immediate side effects.  I had also used a cheap off-brand body wash before hand, which I discontinued after one use, so I am not sure if either of these products may have caused this tight, filmy, oily skin effect.

Has anyone else experienced this?  Or know what the cause may be, and/or the healing time?

I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be due to contact dermatitis,xerosis or dermatitis of the skin.

The mainstay of management is liberal use of fragrance free hypoallergenic non oily moisturizers after washing with luke warm water. Soap should be used minimally.You can also use a topical cortisone (steroid) cream or ointment like dermacort(hydrocortisone). Adding a humidifier to the central heating system of your home or using a humidifier also helps.

If the symptoms persist then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.
