Time to get rid of a wart

by CharlesK, Mar 06, 2007 12:00AM
I have what I believe is a planter's wart and have been treating it by soaking the foot, applying salysilic acid, and scraping away the residual tissue.  I'd been doing this twice a week for two months.  Is this the right way to eliminate a planter's wart and if so how long will it take?

A relative tried that and only ended up with sore feet and going to the podiatrist for removal as it was very stubborn.  Sorry that I don't know any more details. Best of luck.

I could be incorrect but don't they make some "freeze off" products for warts?

I would try that.
