Tinea Capitis

Thanks for your response. The condition has cleared, there are no more scales just a couple of tiny patches of dryness/flaking which I presume is normal. I guess we just have to be patient and wait for the hair to start growing again. Is there anything you would recommend to speed up that process?

There is FDA approved minoxidil. You may ask you doctor if this is applicable in your case. Just try to observe your scalp condition first and make sure it has completely resolved. The scalp condition once restored will start growing hair back. Just try to wait awhile. We do not want to  cause any further irritation.
