Tinea Cruris causing

Hi Doc,
After playing sports I noticed an inflammation around my jock area. I applied a Neosporin cream on the area and the problem persisted. I went to the PCP doctor who prescribed Ketoconazole 2% which worked like a charm for tinea crusis (jock itch). The fungus is gone.
However, now have a large swollen bump on the side of my scrotum (actually within the inner wall). The bump is roughly the size of a nickel and painful to the touch. The membrane is hard around the outside and it feels as if it’s full of fluid or puss. Within the last few days, another smaller such bump has appeared above my scrotum, this one is also painful. This pain is becoming more noticeable the more I move throughout the day.
Could this be the result of the fungus infection? Can this be treated with what I currently have on stock (Ketoconazole 2%, Hydrocortisone 1% and Tinactin) or should I seek a dermatologist? Have you seen a case such as this?

This is not from the fungus. It is most likely an inflamed hair follicle, possibly infected with bacteria. Don't squeeze it, apply bacitracin or neosporin, and see a doctor. This isn't serious, but you might benefit from an oral antibiotic.
