Tiny bright red dot on my face

Hello,
Last Friday evening I noticed a tiny flat red dot on my right cheek which is a size of a dot made from a fine-tip sharpie. This morning I noticed another red dot in close proximity of the original one with the same characteristic. Neither of these tiny dots are itchy or raised. What is the cause of this? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
