Tiny hairs - hard to remove

Tiny hairs - hard to remove

Hello,
For years I have been trying to sort out my legs and unfortuneately I am not going anywhere. As I posted before I said I had red dots over my legs (not raised). After finding no answer to this I am going to move on to the next problem. I have very dark hair (black) which are very thick. I shave with brand new razors and moisturise etc. I even sometimes wax or use creams to remove my hair, however I still have tiny (very thin) hair which are visible fairly close up. Am I doing something wrong? And is there anything I can do apart from laser hair removal?
Thanks.

Hello,
You can try shaving in a different direction, tweezing, exfoliating with facial scrubs, sponges, towels or creams containing acid and ibuprofen or other NSAIDs. Topical application of dilute glycolic acid and salicylic prepared solutions and laser removal of hair are also helpful. You can consult a dermatologist and discuss these treatment options with him.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Hello,
Firsty I am very grateful for your reply as it certainly has given me hope. After reading your reply I have started experimenting different techniques of hair removal which didn't change a lot of things. However looking closer into the situation I have noticed that not all areas on my legs have this problem as there are various patches which have virtually no hair after removal. The problem areas are the top of thighs and all of the lower leg from knee below (not feet).
So far I have tried shaving in different directions but this still did not remove the hairs in the problem areas. I have also tried tweezing to see whether it was worth waxing however the hairs were too small so I instantly knew waxing wouldn't help. Lastly I have tried hair removal creams to dissolve or burn the hair but once again the problem areas are still the same.
My theory:
The problem hairs seem to be on a light red, purply brown dot (I posted something similar a few months ago). These dots are not raised or do not irritate in anyway. After trying hair removal cream I believe that these tiny hairs which are highlighted with these dots are UNDER the skin. Which is the reason why hair removal techniques haven't worked. Is this possible? And are there any products which will throw the hair back out like some ingrown hair gels?

I know without precise diagnosis this is hard to answer, however I would like to hear your view on the matter even though this may not be accurate.
Once again thank you.
