Hello. I have a question for all the people out here. I have been having some sort of tongueTongue tie trush (or rash) i don't know exactly what to call it. For a few weeks I have noticed it but i think it was there for a long time. Recently I took antibiotics and maybe that is why it increased.
It only affects the upper surface of my tongueTongue tie and littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys on the edges. It forms like some form of white cover but it sometimes goes away (in a day or two) and reappears in another place on my tongueTongue tie. I have read about it on the internet, i think it could be "geographic tongueTongue tie" but i am not sure.
My questions:
- can geographic tongueTongue tie be accelerated by the use of antibiotics and anti-inflamatories?
- is it a good think that it is migrating and sometimes dissapearing ? (because I also fear for leukoplakia -which i Know is a severe condition)
- what can i do to make it better or to realize what it surely is until I get the change to talk to a doctor?
Hope you reply,
Many thanks!
'Medical treatment isn't necessary for geographic tongue. The condition usually resolves on its own within months, but it can last a year or more. After which time, the tongue returns to its normal appearance. Though sometimes uncomfortable, the condition is harmless.'
