Too much condylox?

Too much condylox?

About a year ago I went to see a doctor at a clinic about a bump on my penis. She told me it was a wart and prescribed Condylox (with on refil) to get rid of it.  After the first prescription ran out all looked good but then about a month later the bump came back.  Being determined to rid myself of the the bump I used the refil but instead of doing the reccomended three weeks I went about 5.  This caused what looks like scar tissue to form. It's raised, about 10mm in size and a bit rough/dry (and always has been since the overdose).  If I stretch the skin it becomes flat for the most part.

After that a number of months passed and then I went to see two different doctors who both told me it was infact scar tissue.  One even applied liquid nitrogen as a test.  She then reassured me it WAS scar tissue.

My main question is what are the side effects of using Condylox longer than reccomended?

Is there a way I can test it to make sure it is scar tissue and how do I know if it there isn't a wart recurring?  I'm concerned that it never was a wart at all because the first doctor who told me it was also once told me I had herpes when it was really a yeast infection.

Condylox can be irritating.  I imagine that if you use it a long time, it could cause a small scar.  To be confident that it is a scar now and not a wart, you will need to see a doctor you trust and then trust what they tell you.  I think a competent doctor who knows how to diagnose a penile wart can tell one from a scar.  As to whether it was a scar to begin with, that's no longer possible to tell, but at this point it doesn't matter much.

Take care.
