Ugly Rash

I developed a rash about a week ago, although I think it goes back to about two weeks ago. I first noticed it as a few larger red bumps which itched, and I assumed them to be misquito bites. There were a few on my legs and one on my chest, which eventually scabbed from me scratching them, flaked a bit and then healed. Or so I thought.

About a week later as they healed I noticed more red dots around the one on my leg. It looked gross, but I've had skin irritations before and they've usually cleared up in a couple days. Now it's another week later and although it hasn't appeared to continue spreading it doesn't look to be getting any better at all. It itches on and off but it isn't that bad, it doesn't keep me up at night or anything.

I went to see a doctor about it and he told me there was no way it was bug bites and that it was probably poison ivy or a reaction to another poisonous plant. Everyone who has looked at it has told me it doesn't look like poison ivy at all. It  looks disgusting and as it is 90 degrees out and there's no way for me to cover up my legs I want to know if there is anything I can do to make whatever this is go away!

I've attached a couple pictures of the leg that is the worst there is only one large bump and one or two smaller bumps on my other leg and chest. The largest bump with the white center was a "healed misquito bite" which eventually developed more bumps around where it had healed.

I've noticed all the bumps are peeling a little starting in the center of the bumps and extending outward. Is this normal?
