Some other symptoms I've noticed but aren't sure are related include, a numbness in my big toe and under foot pad (left) on 1 foot (for over 2 months), a twitch in my left eye lid (comes and goes), increased instances of bad breath, and pressure on lower back for 3 days that went away.
Also, my urine seems to be more concentrated. This is odd for me as I solely drink water and probably drink about 1/2 gallon of it everyday.
Please help.
PS - I have had the same sexual partner for 12 years. We have both protected and unprotected sex on occasion.
Hello,
Since you are having numbness of the foot and toe, so this inner itch that you are describing can be due to parasthesia. Parasthesias are common in alcoholics and metabolic disorders like diabetes, hypothyroidism, and hypoparathyroidism. They can also be due to peripheral vascular disease, vitamin B12 deficiency or malnutrition.
Get your blood sugar and thyroid hormones levels evaluated. You can take some vit B12 for some days and see if the symptoms are gone or not. If the symptoms persist then please consult a physician.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing or in case you have any additional doubts.
My primary physician got a blood test and told me everything was "normal." I don't know what normal means but I plan on getting the results, on paper, from him tomorrow. Is there anything I should look for? Do you think I should get another blood test?
I will start taking the B12 vitamins asap. Hopefully that helps.
I should also note that the pinching sensation in my penile canal has worsened since I first wrote the other posting. In addition, the tip of my penis has become extremely sensitive. Also, the itching on my face has spread to the ears and eye lids. This issue is driving me up the wall.
