The other day at work I was told to clean up a mess of Canned Air that had fallen and exploded being unaware of the chemicals inside I did so without proper protection. As soon as my hand
and cloth touched the chemical I was alerted it was a bad idea.
The issue is I didn't know how badly I was injured until days later. I believe what happened is I got frostbitten by the chemical in the canned air. There was at one point a thin layer of white ice on my arm. Now it is days later, I have not gone to any Dr.s because at first it just felt irritated but nothing major. But now a spot
I've googled Frostbite and I am scared that my doing nothing about it is going to cause serious problems for me. I would love to go to the DR to just get it checked out but my health insurance was maxed out last year and financial problems right now just don't have it to make a drs appointment. Sounds pathetic but literally no funds right now!
In my research I've also noted that it doesn't say what the proper treatment to the frostbite should have been other than applying water. But that was mostly for snow-icey conditions not from Canned Air. I'm really scared that these spots are going to do more damage than I could have ever imagined. If anyone can help it would be appreciated. I can add photos of the spots later if needed.
