How are you? At this point, try to avoid putting anything on your face to prevent irritation or infection. This could be related to your birthmark also. For lesions such as this, a direct clinical examination is important. Treatment usually depends on the underlying cause.
I'm alright thanks, just a bit self-conscious, which is inevitable for a boy my ages I guess... Ok then, but what about tee trea cream? Also, a cleansing wipe on my face and the spot wouldn't do any harm, right? But I'm just hoping that it's nothing to worry about, you know, nothing serious...
Anyway thanks for the reply.
Cleansing wipes and creams with tea tree ingredient are fine. But make sure that there is no steroid component on these creams to prevent dermatitis. If it persists, have this evaluated further by your doctor for proper management.
Ok I guess I'll use tea tree oil cream everyday on it. I forgot to mention, when I used tee tree oil for a while, the spot went kind of back to skin colour...
Also, it's a spot, next to my right eye, not huge, but noticable. Should I be worried; about things like cancer? :(
Tea tree oil is known to have natural bacterial components. If the spot improves with this, this means that this is some kind of infection. You are still young to worry about cancer. If you really ease your worries and know the diagnosis, I really recommend that
you have this examined by your doctor. Direct clinical evaluation is essential.
Ok well I'm going to see a Dermotologist today, and hopefully when I get back I'll post what she thinks of it on here? Ok well Iv'e been using tee-tree cream on it, and it Seems to be gettings lighter in colour, also, before there was a red ring around it at the base, and since I've been using that it has gone. Anyway speak to you later and thanks for all the help.
p.s and infection can't be cancer, right?
