Upper thigh groin rash

About 2 weeks ago i developed a rash on my upper thigh groin area, which still hasn't gone away. It's on both the left and right leg and hasn't really changed in size since i got it. It's a a consistent pinkish colour and isn't spotty at all...It's been really hot and humid lately so I'm thinking it might have something to do with that. However, I'm worried it's herpes because i had sex with a girl with the STD late last year...I'm yet to see a doctor so I can't be sure though...The area hasn't produced any kind of blistering at all and actually seems to respond well to anti itch creams etc without getting rid of the rash itself. I've had some flu like symptoms lately but I think they're unrelated because a few of my friends have had the same flu-like symptoms recently...
