Using a topical acne therapy cream while on accutane

So i'm on accutane for about a month and 1 week now and i notice my acne clearing up after using clindoxyl gel (clindamycin & benozoyl peroxide) for 1 week continuing my accutane. So now my acne has cleared up i got red spots on my face still and now it looks like i got a sunburn.

Question : Is it okay to use acne topical creams (clindoxyl gel) while on accutane or does accutane work better while off every other prescription drugs?

My face did not get any better on accutane alone but my dermatologist told me to use clindoxyl gel a week before starting accutane. Since accutane was not working properly i decided to use clindoxyl gel but i want to get rid of all the marks and redness away from the face and i need to know if using the clindoxyl gel will interfere with the accutane
