Hello,
Vitiligo or leucoderma mean the same. Many treatment options are available but the choice of therapy depends on the number of white patches; their location, sizes, and how widespread they are and the option that is convenient to the patient. Children whose parents have the disorder are more likely to develop vitiligo but please don’t worry as the no. of such cases are very less and it can recurs also.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
