Vaginal confusion

About a month ago i visited my Gyno because i had thought i had a yeast infection. Turns out it cleared by the time i made my visit. Although since then things have just been not right down there. Whenever i wipe i get this white (almost like if you take a napkin, wet it, and rub it on clothing) discharge that i can see. Its not a lot but its visible and i never had it before. My gyno took a sample of it and checked and told me there was nothing wrong with it. Although i am still worried because i stilll have it. Since i had the yeast infection i am sometimes itchy also for no reason down there.. more towards the back half and i dont understand. My boyfriend and i dont use condoms becasue i am on birth control so i am wondering if it could have to do with that? I also noticed on his penis a little white head pimple. I proceeded to ask him about it and he said it was normal. Is this true? I am kind of freaked out and worried because i sometimes have those on my vagina in the pubic hair region. Although in 4 months of having sex its the first one i have seen. I dont know whether to be concerned i could possibly have an STD or im just freaking out. Also, whenever i have sex after i am sore. I told my gyno about this and he said it was normal but i am not sure. Before i had the yeast infection i never got sore barly ever so i am wondering if it has to do with it? Please help!

If I were you I would go to doctor and ask for STD tests.  Him having white pimples and then you having white pimples you never had before doesn't sound quite right.  Also, ask your doctor to do a herpes test.  Doctors don't always do herpes test automatically when they test for STD so make sure they do a herpes test too.  I think there is an over the counter test you can buy at the drugstore now that you can test for a yeast infection at home to see if it is really a yeast infection.  You might try getting one of those and testing to see if you really have a yeast infection or not.  Lots of time women think they have a yeast infection and treat for it when actually it is something else that is wrong.
