For the past two years I’ve gone to 3 dermatologists and one Holistic doctor to try and figure out why the crown of my scalp is sensitive. No one seems to know what’s causing it.
I’m slowing loosing my hair at the crown of my scalp. I’ve noticed the hair follicles
through my hair, or when I massage my scalp. The only way I can describe the feeling is: “If you wear your hair back in a tight pony tail and than take the rubber band out, your scalp will have a sensitive feeling to it.” However, I NEVER pull my hair back (I always wear it down). I haven’t worn it back in about 10 years.
I recently noticed if I allow the blood to flow to my head
problem or is it something else? My scalp feels this way daily (for over 2 yrs), I even wake up with it feeling sensitive (which doesn’t make any sense to me).
How are you? What tests were done? Sensitive scalp would normally be stimulated with triggers such as climate change, environmental change, and sometimes with the presence of scalp infection, hormonal imbalance and even inherited or underlying conditions. Try to avoid chemicals and extremes of temperature
. If it persists, I would recommend that you have regular follow-up with your doctors to find out the underlying cause. Take care and do keep us posted.
