Very itchy, bloodshot eyes, eyelashes falling out

Hi, i dont know if this is an skin infection on my eyelids and that why my eyelashes are falling out.. or if its an actual infection with my eyes. My eyes are very itchy, bloodshot and i am always rubbing them, maybe thats why my eyelashes are falling out.. I dont know if i should go see a optometrist or a dermatologist...this is really scary and i dont know what to do?? please help

I'd suggest you see a dermatologist to determine if the loss is due to alopecia areata of the eyelashes. This could also be due to the blepharitis.

Good hygiene — regular cleaning of the area — can control signs and symptoms and prevent complications.
