Very small pimple on penis

A little over a year ago I had unprotected sex with a girl. About 36 hours later a small pimple popped up on my penis. No itching or tingling. I probably wouldnt even have noticed it if I wasn't examining myself. It looked like what a typical clogged pore would look like.  I kind of just wrote it off thinking it was caused because it was the first time Id had sex in about a year. Four months after that a similar "pimple" popped up and went away after a few days. Then 8 months after the second pimple a third one popped up. It was very small and went away after about a day.  Should I be worried about herpes here? I'm more worried about the timing of everything than the actual symptoms. Can herpes show up that quickly? Do you think I should get a blood test? Any input here would be helpful. I'm a little stressed. Thank you for your time.

Herpes typically presents as a cluster of blisters that lasts 7-10 days, then recurs as another cluster weeks or months later.  That doesn't sound anything like what you describe.  I think you should leave any bumps that appear alone, and show them to a doctor, who can order a test if it seems useful, though I think it may well not be necessary.
