Hello,
Both lupus and vitiligo are autoimmune diseases. People who have one autoimmune disease often have more than one. Lupus and vitiligo can occur in the same person at the same time, but there is no cause and effect relationship between the two. I suggest you to consult an orthoepdician for your daughter and get her ANA levels checked.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Thank you for ur reply sorry it's taken so long ANA is positive it's took this long to get that far am waiting on results of the 2nd test? My daughter seems 2 be getting worse :( would vililigo alone cause a positive ANA?
, rheumatoid arthritis, & mixed connective tissue disease. It is not specifically raised in vitiligo or lupus only.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
